Abinsula is an Embedded, Web, Mobile solutions company founded in April 2012 by professionals. Over the years it has achieved great growth due to some market successes, in fact it later founded its headquerters not only in Sassari, but also in Cagliari, Turin and Barcelona. In particular, in stands out in the automotive/transport field with the role of official supplier of important world leaders in this market.

UNISS
On June 16, 2018, the University of Sassari established the Center for Industrial Research and Technology Transfer in the agriculture sector, or the “INNOVATIVE AGRICULTURE” Interdepartmental Center. The Center is the hub from which agro-industry in Sardinia develops for economic and institutional operators with high skills and know-how to be used, through the enhancemnt of the Centre’s important assets, for the enhancement of local production and the applicatiion of innovation. It also supports companies in their need to develop new technologies for agriculture in order to improve the quality and productivity to satisfy a higher demand in terms of quality and quantity.
The Uniss proposal related to the project relies on the skills of the Department of Agriculture, the only one present in Sardinia region and which for years has been carrying out experimentation and technology tranfer activities in close contact with companies in the agri-food and agro-industrial sectors, also with reference to the isues inclued in the Industry 4.0.
